Some comments concerning the age of the bird:
- rather thin (as for that species) bill - in that case the very
downcurved upper edge of the bill is diagnostic for Thick-billed
- some brownish colors on rather dirty whitish throat patch (more pure
white in adults even in moulting ones is more black and white)
- rather narrow and ill defined white trailing edge to the secondaries
(very well visible in adults)
- some brownish tinge on the upperwing (seen on primary coverts)
all together suggest 1 immature (1st winter bird)
