Several of us from Charlotte birded the Beidler Forest Sanctuary near
Harveyville. We heard three and saw two prothonotary warblers.
According to the manager this is the earliest they have ever arrived.
One looked and acted pretty beat. It wasn't singing at all. Just
foraging and resting in a tree right next to the boardwalk.
