For Dan, myself, and others travelling to Florida for the holidays, the
Florida Ornithological Society wepage at http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fos/
has a link to a page of all their CBC dates. For people travelling
elsewhere, the Colorado counts are on the site of the Colorado Field
Ornithologists at http://www.cfo-link.org ; the Maryland Ornithological
Society webpage at http://www.MDBirds.org/ has a link to that state's
counts. Other state-by-state CBC lists on-line:
Minnesota: http://www.starpoint.net/~gpnfh/cbc/contacts.html
Kansas: http://www.ksbirds.org/kos/CBC2000.html
New York: http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/mdm2/nycbc.html#BM12_23
Michigan: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Falls/9456/
Southern California: http://www.SoCalAudubon.org/socal/cbc00-01.htm
Louisiana: http://losbird.org/bulletin/00cbc_not.htm
Pennsylvania: http://pa.audubon.org/CBC_2000.htm
Alabama and NW Florida: http://www.alaweb.com/~kenwood/saba/CBC.htm
Washington and Oregon: http://home.pacifier.com/~mpatters/cbc/cbc2000.html
Washington plus Idaho and British Columbia: http://www.wos.org/WACBCs.htm
In addition to the N&O, the Independent weekly put the CBC on its list of
top events of the coming week. And the Spectator mentioned the issue for
which John Argentati posted his petition, the potential ban of motorized
watercraft from Lake Wheeler.
Good birding, and see some of you on the Raleigh CBC tomorrow!
