Hello y'all,
Toured New Rd. and the Conway sewage ponds this afternoon. In spite of
the nice cool weather, there remains a dearth of ducks 'round these parts.
Today's balmy conditions (sunny, 50ºF) produced a surprising number of
warblers (7 spp.), including a cpl of nifty birds: a male Wilson's (lifer!)
and a Nashville (yeah, I know...but this bird was way cooperative in great
light for about 3 minutes, disappeared for awhile, then came back to the
same area) along with the more likely suspects. Seven warbler spp. in Dec.;
