Whistling Ducks:

Hi all, went back to Magnolia gardens this afternoon after returning from
Bear Island and Donnely WMA. The Whistling ducks were still not around.
I did see a Red shouldered Hawk and a pair of Ring-neck ducks there.
At Bear island it was void of just about all wildlife. On Marys pound there
were a few Gulls and a couple of terns and that was it, nothing else on the
water or in the air. A Eagle was on the nest at Marys pound, but the nest
up[ the road on the right was empty.
At Donnely it was a different story! These were all at the lodge pound.
