Just when you thought . . .

C'Birders:

. . . . . you'd heard the last from me, here I am again:

Today Susan banded the immature male Ruby-throated HB, "Y", who has been
chasing X, at our house. X was a no-show, but think we just saw her at one
of the feeders about an hour and a half after Susan left. Y has sprouted a
few more than the one red gorget feather he had when I first spotted him a
week ago. Which is nice.

Mr. Tea had quite a few visitors over the weekend and my husband enjoyed
meeting those who stopped by our place. Steve Shultz's picture on his
website of Tea is great and so is Randy Emmit's winning a prize for his
picture. I feel like a proud aunt or something.

I was in Canada doing an off-topic thing, so I can't mention that I got #699
Boreal Owl and #700 Ivory Gull, but if I could, I would.

Good Birding All,
Happy in Sunset Lakes,
