Lincoln's Sparrow directions

The directions to the Alligator River Refuge's Lincoln's Sparrows are as
follows:
Turn off hwy 64 onto Milltail Creek Rd. and drive approx. two miles to the
intersection with Long Curve Rd. Turn left onto Long Curve Road and stop.
Set your odometer to 0.0. This is the site of Lincoln's #1, which was an
unseen singing bird. At .6 miles (where Creef road joins in) Lincoln's #2
was seen in the thick stuff on the right-hand corner. At .8 miles I had a
mystery bird (distant) which may have been a Lincoln's. At 1.05 (junction of
Link Rd.) I had Lincoln's #3. I saw this one well on both Tuesday and
Wednesday. At 2.2 miles, there was another singing bird (#4) which I did not
see. This is also where the Wolves were. Lastly, at 2.5 miles, at the pump
house, the habitat looks real good but I did not find anything unusual. It
may be worth checking out, though.
This is all the habitat that I checked, there may be more birds down Grouse
Road or back on Milltail Creek Rd. Of course, most of the "good" habitat is
off-limits, maybe I can talk the Fish&Wildlife people into a one day trip
into these areas sometime this winter.
	Good luck!
