Dear Birders,
I'm trying to establish both a purple martin colony and a barn swallow
colony within about 30 feet of each other and was wondering if they might
conflict with one another? The martins would be nesting in a martin house
(14 apartments) and the barn swallows would be nesting under an overhang (16
shelves). I'd stongly prefer not to move the martin house further away.
Thanks in advance. (Reply to johna@blue-lizard.com)
