HARI OM!
I recently went along with my family to the
Nava
thirupathis and Nanguneri and thirukurungudi.
I was enthralled
by the divinity and spirituality at
these temples. Except for one or two all
the temples
are really huge. All the temples have been maintained
very
well. thanks to the efforts taken up by TVS. A
must visit Kshetrams for all
the Sri Vaishanvas.
We operated from thirunelveli. All the
Cab/Taxi
drivers in Tirunelveli are pretty knowledgeable
about
Navathiruppathi; We took a cab around 9 AM from
Thirunelveli. We
found a good driver in Shri
Muthukrishnan of Balaji Tavels who doubled up
as
guide. He was sure about the timings of the temples
so he became our
"Sarathy" for these temples.
In the After noon we rested for some time
at Ahobila
Mutt of Alwarthirunagari. We covered all the nine
divya desams
on the first day itself.
Next day we visit the famous Thirukurungudi
and
VanamAmalai divya desams. At thirukurungudi, apart
from the dieties at
the temple complex there is
another temple on the Hills as also
Thiruparkadal
nambi Emberumannar Sannathi and a temple
for
thirumangaialwar outside the main complex.
Sri Vaishnavas
intending to visit Thirukurungudi can
contact Shri D Ramanujam at No. 31,
Sannathi Street
Thirukurungudi 627115 (Phone No. 04635-265692 Mobile
No.
93605-48252). He would help in making
arrangements for stay and having
good darshans at all
the shrines of Thirukurngudi as also the
temple
Malaimel Nambi.
At Alwarthirunagari, Ahobila one can
contact
Shri.Srinivasan Iyengar 04639-273845. All the nine
temples can be
visited from this place.
