Dear Bhagavatas:
Enough has been said by members on the subject to the point of saturation. This
will be the last posting, please.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

dear bhaktas,
Adiyen maybe permitted to tell asmall stoy from vedantha regarding this
issue,' once a maharishi was coming through a forest all the bamboo trees above
the land were gutted the maharishi was very sad to the fact that the entire
forest has become a handfull of ashes .
Later on after three months he was returning from shethradanam to his surprise
the forest completely burnt some months ago has become totally green and
flourishing with lives. The maharishi understood that the agni was able to fire
only the portion of the trees above the earth and not the roots.by the sight of
new rains the roots broke its dormancy and came out as a plant. In our day
today life also the body is the bamboo and our vasanabuddi is the root.
Whatever prayachitta karma we perform that will purify only the papam (sin)
without touching the root. for removal of roots the requirements is vasudeva
parayana.By the karmas each human being assimilates papas .By doing their
prayachitta karmas only the papas are burnt there is no damage to the root and
the god by simple punishments removes the external papas .The solvation for a
soul is possible only if the root for the papa is removed, at that time
bhagavan takes the avatara of kalki and removes the root of the papas to provide
solvation to those who always live in the pool of papas ..when everything
fails and the root anchored itself in the heart strongly the god has no course
except to come as bhgavan kalki in the form of a devstating fire.
god declares that he do not have any karma for him to do but with out rest he
is doing so many karmas .god is having the quality of bhootakrith( created
evrything) bhootvrith (holding evrything) inspite of all these things he is
having dharidaryam.his dharidaryam is that he has no body equal to him either
no body above him .. from the above we may conclude that the supreme god is the
absolute owner of all lokas , and his sankalpa is divine after allowing the
mother nature to do its functions, only where it is absolutely essential god
takes an active role like the kalki avatar

Dear Sri Raghavan,
Namaskarams. Your daughter's query was very suitable for a debate, however,
when we were discussing this within our house, my son(9 years old) gave a
different explanation to this :
a.. "The God is not a local policeman to come and hit bad people whenever
they do wrong. He will come only when a big offence is committed"
b.. "The biggest offences are still in waiting and the God will descend only
at that time"
Eventhough the above answer is childish, it has kindled adiyen's thoughts and
would request the opinion of our learned bhagavathas, if it is fit for further
enlightnment.
with pranamams,

Subject: [SriRangaSri] A question from a 10 year old child
Dear Aasthikaas,
Namaskaram. I would like to take the liberty of posting here a
question from my 10 year old daughter, and seek a suitable answer to
quench her curiosity.
I was explaining to her the stories of the Dasa Avathaaras and told
her that as the final and 10th Avathara, the Lord will come to the
earth at the end of Kali Yuga as Kalki Avathara and destroy the evil
forces.
She wanted to know why the Lord should wait until the very end of
Kali Yuga to do this. She asked "Why does not he come earlier and
get rid of the evil forces". I could not think of a suitable answer
and wanted some guidance in this reply.
I hope someone would show me the path.
