The
Furniture
Assignment

Goal

In this assignment students will using the Object Information Panel to create a detailed model of some item of furniture in the computer lab. Students may select any reasonably detailed item and create an exact duplicate. This includes both internal and external structures as well as colors and textures. Credit will be given based on the quality of the model and the attention the student has paid to accuracy and detail. Although students are given the freedom to choose any item they like, complex and challenging objects are likely to get higher grades than simple objects.
