The Still Life

Purpose: This project will
familiarize the student with the processes of image mapping, lighting and object
creation.
Objectives: The student will create a
still life using a number of personally created objects. They may also import
other objects from different programs or other students. The still life scene
may be on any theme that they choose. Examples of possible projects could
include: A desktop with a computer and books on it, A table set for breakfast, a
child’s toy chest. The scene should incorporate a lathed object, a scanned image
and some object modeled from life. Students will be encouraged to experiment
with lighting and design to achieve an aesthetically pleasing image.

grouped in a realistic non-distracting manner
