Creating jpg’s and avi’s from a trueSpace scene Are you sick of only seeing your animations
in wireframe mode, or only being able to view your pictures in the trueSpcae
window? Well, worry no more, you will soon find out how to create full color
animations that can be played back in Windows Media Player, or full color
pictures to be viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Just follow the steps
in this tutorial, and saving and rendering scenes will no longer be a problem
of yours. |

Start
trueSpace by double-clicking the icon on the desktop: (trueSpace
will then open) |

Click the Start button, on the bottom
left of the screen ·
Hold the mouse over programs ·
Find Caligari trueSpace3, highlight it ·
Then click on trueSpace3 |

Open
the scene you wish to make into an avi or jpeg by clicking “File” on
the bottom left of the screen, go to “Scene,” and then click “load…” |

Locate
the file you wish to open, and click “OK.” (The
scene you selected will open) |

||||||||
Click
“File,” then click “Render Scene to File.” |

||||||||
Under
“File Name:” input the desired name of the avi or jpeg. |

||||||||
Click
the “List Files of Type:” list arrow and select “AVI Files *.avi”
for a movie, or “JPEG Files *.jpg” for a picture. |

Under “Resolution,”
select the desired resolution. The bigger the numbers, the larger (length and
width) the picture or movie will be. |

Click
the “Render” button. |

||||||||
When the “JPEG Settings” or “AVI Compression” windows pop-up, just click “OK.” |
