The Walker Percy Educational Project
- Founded The Project as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and innovative Internet-based literary project in 1995
- Initiated and held chief responsibility for all Project planning and administration, including board development, finances, and evaluation
- Created and implemented fundraising and development tools, including Long Range Funding Plan, national-level grant submissions, and multi-tier founder's and general membership campaigns
- Designed and distributed marketing and publicity materials – including organization portfolio, brochure, and program announcements – to national educational and cultural organizations, media, and public
- Developed online discussion, educational materials, and archives programs and curriculum materials
- Recruited/managed volunteer and paid staff, corporate sponsors, and partners
- Oversaw website content selection, editing, and publications provided by scholars, Percy acquaintances, and public
- Directed the technical development and deployment of the web-based project, including user interface design and multiple programming languages (HTML, CSS, and JS)

The Walker Percy Educational Project is a volunteer effort. Though the Project is hosted by the Ibiblio Network of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, it is not formally associated with nor funded by any university, government, state, or other agency.
