Greek Byzantine New Testament MP3
A few years ago Maurice Doctor Robinson released online yours New Testament Greek Byzantine MP3 (according this site http://www.letsreadgreek.com/resources/greekntaudio.htm), but I do not find more. Does anyone know where I can find?

Re: Greek Byzantine New Testament MP3
Robinson recorded his recordings in 1980 or thereabouts. He taught at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The recordings are 24 cassettes in four containers according to the following record in the library: http://catalog.library.sebts.edu/vufind ... ngs#tabnav. You could try to find it on Wolrdcat.org to see if it is in any other library. But my search on Worldcat did not bring up the audio from SEBTS.
Hope this helps.

The closest I can get is this: https://web.archive.org/web/20100309145 ... nglish.htm
But alas, it doesn't have the actual files. You could, however try the email address.
Edit: better news: streaming is not available, but zip files seem to be!

And while we are at it, someone should save these files and find out if they could be publicly available in some new site.Eeli Kaikkonen wrote:The closest I can get is this: https://web.archive.org/web/20100309145 ... nglish.htm

I managed to get everything except for 2 John and Jude, which apparently aren't on archive.org. I will check the copyright status before posting.Eeli Kaikkonen wrote:And while we are at it, someone should save these files and find out if they could be publicly available in some new site.Eeli Kaikkonen wrote:The closest I can get is this: https://web.archive.org/web/20100309145 ... nglish.htm

Hmm, I wonder why. I got them. Once I had to click a link "Impatient?" on some message page. If you can't get them at all, I can send them to you.Jonathan Robie wrote:I managed to get everything except for 2 John and Jude, which apparently aren't on archive.org.

With Chrome, I got the files. With Safari, those redirects hadn't worked for me.Eeli Kaikkonen wrote:Hmm, I wonder why. I got them. Once I had to click a link "Impatient?" on some message page. Hello all, this Link should work, including 1John and Jude: http://forum.focusyourmission.org/files/bg.html
Does it work?
There are files by Luis Tylor with a more Greek like sounding (no US accent): http://audiohebrewgreekbible.com/
yours Peter

Re: Greek Byzantine New Testament MP3
I opened Matt 5 to get a sample listen.
My first reaction: unreliable and not recommendable for students.
Intonation is like a crossword puzzle, accents are incorrect, introduction to chapter in English, hestitations not according to sense and unrelated to content, and grating, non-Greek, US-Erasmian. The reader is parroting syllables as he deciphers them, not understanding or thinking with the text being read, and pretty much blocking the listener from doing so.
Why would this be linked to the Greek Byzantine text family? Surely, the Greek Bible Society has something good that can be listened to.
