Re: shelving supplier needed

Hi Bill,

You can get shelving with integrated racks, or (and this, I think, is a lot
more practical) separate racks that you can put on shelves you already have.
If you don't mind USED, give a call to Larry Urbanski at Urbanski Film &
Video, P.O. Box 438, Orland Park, IL 60462-0438, (708) 460-9082 -- not even
very far from where you are! He usually has a bunch, for $10 each plus
shipping. Larry's also a good source for rewinds, viewers, cores, etc.
Tell him I sent ya!

Another point, though: You really should store motion picture film
HORIZONTALLY, not vertically. And this, of course, negates the need for the
racks (although they make great "collator" racks when organizing paper
documents!!). That's why we've got about 100 racks that we're not using
anymore. But, I can't give them away, for alas, they have State of Nebraska
property inventory numbers on them -- otherwise, you'd be welcome to ours!

If Larry can't help you, give me a call and I'll ferret out another supplier
for you.

-Paul
