I do not have the answer to your question, but I can offer a little
additional information. . .

The company I previously worked for (a brewery) had hundreds of sporting
events on film. This was before sports were broadcast on television, and
many breweries would sponsor such events, stick in commercials, and then
rent the films to various men's clubs. As I understand it, this was usually
the only way people other than the ones at the event, would see the fight,
football game, etc,. Since we had films of Rocky Graciano (sp?) and others,
I planned on checking the legalities, but I left before it ever made it to
the top of my priority list!!

Good luck, and if you find the answer, I would appreciate hearing exactly
what the answer is!
