Re: Searching for Ziegfeld Follies girl!

The Theatre Arts Collection at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center
has a Ziegfeld collection with dozens of photographs. If I remember
correctly, the collection is organized by year and production. I believe
some of the featured performers have their own files. I think there may
also be some business and personal files of Ziegfeld himself and possibly
some broadsides and posters. For more information contact Esther Mes, the
Collection Assistant, at emes@mail.utexas.edu. She's usually swamped with
work, so she may not be able to spend a great deal of time searching the
files. The HRHRC does have travel fellowships and keeps a list of proxy
researchers. Let me know if you need any more info.
