Re: online primary sources for use in curriculum



The Alabama Department of Archives and History has ten teaching units designed to help teachers more easily integrate the use of primary source materials into their classrooms.

Similarly, the Alabama Moments in American History Project (http://www.alabamamoments.alalinc.net/mainpage.html), a cooperative effort between the Friends of the Alabama Archives, the Alabama Humanities Foundation, and the Alabama Department of Education, endeavors to make available to teachers information and  primary source materials for teaching Alabama history within the context of an American history class.
