Re: "Archiving" University Course Catalogs

A note on the importance of version control . . . .

Every year we have at least one patron who needs to find course
descriptions for courses that they took while at Clemson University. This
may be due to licensing requirements, professional audits, or some other
reason. So having the official course catalog for each year has "practical"
(at least to the suits) ramifications for people beyond the "merely"
historical. I suspect that this information may be useful to accrediting
agencies as well. So version control, whether paper or electronic, is of
paramount importance.
