Howdy Doody

I was perusing the news and found this link about
the issue of ownership of one of the three Howdy
Doody puppts. The interesting thing for archivists
is the claim of no formal deed of gift and the issue
of intent. I don't know what the arguments are in
the case but I'm always interested in these kinds of
situations because many archivists have collections
that lack clear documented deeds of gifts.
