Re: Armed Archivists Local History Liberation Front

Jeff and fellow conspirators (you know who you are):

Having just arrived in my home office back from the capital of the Great
White North, I'm ready to enlist....I am quite prepared to add my 1812
reproductions to the aresenal...flintlock .45 cal. rifle...tomahawk...2
light cavalry sabres... and of course the mandatory "Arkansas Toothpick"....

Now I'll have to be careful here, cause the last time Canadian rebels
looked south of the border for help, seems to me...was 1837...and somehow
we didn't get annexed.....

Just rest assured that the situation up here aint much different.....made
the mistake of listening to the news in the car on this 6 hr trip...all
about annexations and amalgamations of a whole bunch of Ontario
municipalities....most of which do not have local archives...but at least
with town and township clerks much of the historical records were
stored...now that these municipalities will be non-existent....we might
just have to carry out a few raids.....

Cheers!

Mark
