Re: President Roosevelts War address to the Nation

FDR gave a number of addresses to the nation during the war and before - the
famous Fireside Chats. Perhaps this is the "date that will live in Infamy"
speech when he went to Congress on December 8, 1941 to ask for a Declaration
of War against the Empire of Japan.

Can you give me some text from listening to the record? Anything on the
record jacket?

A great source is to check with an archivist at the FDR Library via
(www.nara.gov) and choose presidential libraries. Their recorded sound
specialist should be able to help you as well.
