Folks,
I have a researcher looking for diaries that were kept
by National Guardsmen who were sent to encampments
along the U.S./Mexico border c. 1917. This was the
period when Pershing was chasing after Villa. My
researcher is interested in the day-to-day events along
the U.S. side of the border esp. Arizona. These men
were sent from California, arizona, Colorado and other
states so there may be material outside of Arizona. He
has been to NARA and has people working there. Any
pointers or sources vastly appreciated. Dick King,
