  Hi
My name is Bob. I've been a member for a while. I hope someone can help
me find any info. on American Whaley Engine Company of Boston. The owner was
William Boroughs Smith Whaley. They made low compression Heavy Duty oil-gas-
engines for marine and stationary. Engines went from 10 to 6000 H.P.
The company would have been in operation from about 1900. It went out
of business about 1930. There was a article written in June 1918 by Andrew
Paterson from the "The Rudder".
Mr. Whaley owned a plant in Portland maine and warehouses in Ny. His
main business location was in Boston.
        Can anyone help.

             Thanks, Bob Bell
