That document, if not an actual forgery, doesn't appear to have happened at the
Japanese surrender.  I did only a cursory search at the US Navy's History site,
and the photographs from the ceremony make no mention of Doolittle or
Eisenhower, certainly.  I find it hard to believe that Ike would have been left
out of the festivities, so I suspect your donor is either pulling your leg, got
his story wrong, or thinks you're slow-witted enough to spend money on this
without verifying it first.
