Re: Query: MS Access question

Hi, everyone!

I got bashful & replied privately to Bridgette. I think I will "cc" my
reply to everyone, after all.

For technical questions about ANY problem you aer having with ANY computer
, please try:

http://www.experts-exchange.com

I found that WONDERFUL site when I was searching the Web for help with
Access 97. I am NOT an expert, and I had already used up my 3
no-extra-charge calls to Redmond, WA,; any other calls would cost my
employer $55 for EACH problem!

Experts Exchange is FREE!! Really! ALL you have to do is register, and you
get 200 points, which you use up, a little at a time, as you ask questions.
You get enough points to ask a couple of moderately difficult questions
every month. And the people who answer your questions are TRUE EXPERTS.
They know LOTS about LOTS of computer applications, languages, etc.

They NEVER divulge your personal information, either. Never.

The only thing I do not like about "EE" is that they are not yet set up to
send answers to your questions to TWO e-mail addresses. *I* need that,
because I work for the State of California, and this state has an ABSOLUTE
PROHIBITION against using state-owned equpment for personal use *24 HOURS A
DAY*. I initially registered for EE using one of my personal e-mail
addresses, and that is the only place I can get the answers to my questions
to EE.

The experts who have answered my questions are unfailingly patient and
polite. I have gotten a lot of valuable help this way. And it is FREE,
and available 24 hours a day. I sometimes get answers within an hour or
two.

I have only one request for all of you: if you do decide to sign up with
Experts Exchange, please tell them you found out about EE from me. That
will add points to my account, and since I am NOT an expert, that is the
only way, besides staying registered with EE, that I can ever get more
points added to my total . My nickname on EE is "SP_fan". (I am a
railfan, and the Southern Pacific is my favorite railroad.)
