Because the pages are glossy (clay added to the paper IIRC)it would be
better to seek out another edition. Try interlibrary loan for the articles
you may have better luck that way then trying to obtain another copy of the
whole journal.

Glossy pages that become wet stick together because of the clay used to give
the paper that glossy look. Imagine a National Geographic that gets wet.
