Re: Exhibit Case Designers



Architects and electricians can tend to ignore archival requirements for
temperature and UV controls.  Our 27 eight foot long display cases were
constructed with so much lighting that we had to pull some of it out.  Even
so, the temperature exceeds 72 degrees F.  And, the class display case
windows are not UV treated glass!
However, I must also say that at that time, the person in charge of the
archives could not have cared any less than he did.... hence the
non-archival standards.
