Professions preserving open government and sunshine principles

A proposal is needed to fund archivists, librarians or
records managers who would organize and manage city of
Boston public library departments archives of themselves as
historical entities of an historical institution. A project
of this sort would protect the rights of access to
legitimately public city documents that have been denied
library users/customers/consumers by BPL president Bernard
Margolis and BPL board chair Joseph Mullaney
http://www.bpl.org/query.htm

BPL directors G. Rutkowskis and K. Dibble have
responsibility for public access but abrogate when it
involves state FOI principles.

For example if you do graduate studies and cast around for a
dissertation or thesis project consider an analysis of
Boston Public Library's own institutional archives and a
proposal for managing our urban public library more
effectively with regard to city archives. While a Boston
city archives exists, it in many cases does not handle some
city departments archives. Boston's archives commission
does not even meet!
