Subject: Re: Film for Pathex Motion Picture Camera
At the Medical Mission Sisters's archives, Fox Chase, PA, we had many little
rolls of film with the sprocket holes down the middle. These turned out to
be 1930s amateur movie film, used primarily in Europe.
The foundress of the MMS, Mother Anna Dengel, was going on a trip around the
world with a friend and fellow physician in 1936. All of her souvenir photos
were taken in this unique format.
Great Lakes VIdeo was able to project this rolls which turned out to be
negatives.
I am no longer with the Medical Mission Sisters and no longer have the
complete address of the Great Lakes Video (possibly Michigan).
It was challenging to find a firm that could project these 8 1/2 mm films.
Good luck.
