Re: Approaching the grieving

A rather different angle on this: Those of us who deal with corporate archives are occasionally confronted with situations in which the records being solicited are jeopardized because of layoffs, mergers, going out of business, etc., all involving the unwelcome situation of trying to negotiate with people in very stressful situations of another sort altogether. Having seen several significant collections lost due to such circumstances, any tools for working more effectively with corporate contacts in such situations would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure theremost be some degree of commonaltiy between loss of a loved one and loss of a job.

Best wishes,
