Re: Lysol

I found a link by searching google that tells what is in Lysol. Lysol may
kill mold and mildew in household chores, but can you really do anything to
kill mold and mildew that in the book cover and paper itself? Maybe you can
photocopy the important data on archival quality paper so that it is
preserved but that the mold does not spread to other books.

Isn't Lysol a dilute solution of sodium hydroxide (i.e., lye)? If so, it
would not be too good for paper, I would think.
