Conversion of linear ft./inches to pages...

Hello Listers,

Does anyone out there know of a good formula for converting linear
ft./inches to number of pages? We're thinking about doing a microfilming
project and need to know how many pages we're talking about. I thought I
remembered seeing something regarding this subject a while back, but I
haven't had any luck searching the listserv archives. Any help would be
greatly appreciated!
