Re: Box labels

We had been using Hollinger's laser printer labels for the past 5 years;
they were easy to remove during the first hours or so after being adhered,
but after a day the glue set up and became very durable. Absolutely none of
our labels have ever shown any signs of coming off.

Unfortunately, Hollinger's recently switched to a new supplier for their
labels; the labels are so thick and coated with a very slick layer of some
plasticizing agent, which causes them to jam in all of our laser printers.
When told of this problem, they told me to "clean my laser printer" and that
"they work in our printer ... must be your printer that's not working". NOT
extremely helpful.

Anyway, I would say that if they returned to their original vendor, that
they would be a relatively safe bet. But I can't recommend their current
crop of labels, and they don't seem particularly interested in returning to
their original supplier.

Steve
