I hear the battle of Cowpens accuracy wasn't so hot either.  With all the
money those people have out in California, ya think they could wonderfully
recreate a battle involving 1800 people.  And you wouldn't really have to
fake the characters in Revolutionary Carolina.  Cornwallis,  Marion,
Morgan, Tarleton, Greene, Gates, and others - what a mixed bag of humanity
that any good actors would love to sink their teeth into....

Guess we'll have to wait another 200 years for a better production......

There's a big article in the just-out issue of Smithsonian on their role in
the making of the Patriot.  I think the focus is more on set accuracy than
on character accuracy.
