History and Movies

There was a fascinating episode of History's Mysteries
in the late night last night about William Wallace of
Scotland and a section about the movie and the many
inaccuracies. On the one hand, historians were pleased
with the attention that the film gave to Scotland and to
Wallace...while deploring all the "corrections" they have to
give to those-who-learn-their-history-from-the-movies.

I liked the one comment that said Braveheart was
"Lethal Weapon Meets Kilts"
