Re: digital cameras

Hi! How are you? Hope you are doing well.

Between the National Governor's Conference and the Arts Festivals, State
College is a mess.

I will not be attending SAA in Denver but will be at MAc/MARAC in
Cleveland. Hope to see you there.

Now for the business part of this e-mail --

I am attaching our scanner procedures.

We do allow digital cameras as long as the photos are being used for class
projects or educational uses, non-commercial.

Folks - We have seen a real increase in the number of patrons requesting to
use digital cameras in our reading room. How are you all addressing this
issue?

Do you allow them?

Do you take digital images for your users, or do you let them use their
own cameras?

If you allow the use of digital cameras, how is it managed?

Policy on scanners?

Responses will be appreciated. Please reply to me directly, if you wish.
I'll summarize for the list.
