Classification of Record-keeping system types

I am interested in knowing if there exists the classification of
recordkeeping system (or information system) types, (e.g. database, GID,
image systems, etc. or decision making systems, knowledge management
systems, etc) in archives, computer science or business literature. If
anyone know, please refer it with any helpful citations to me. Thanks.
