Re: Jackie Kennedy's Pink Dress



 My favorite part of all these disputes is how it
 demonstrates that archivists are as petty and
intolerant as we are.

 I don't mean just people who are annoyed that the
 discussions go on forever, but also those who are
outraged that someone or other would dare mention some
subject, or be so insensitive that . . .

 All of these exchanges are very instructive, and I
 particularly enjoy  putting faces to rants at SAA
meetings.

 Then of course, there are those who sit back and
 superciliously deride their fellows for their faults
 while admitting to none of their own.
 Perhaps they are the worst of all.
