Re: Left behind
I'd say we've got the food and drink aspect pretty nicely nailed down
(except no one mentioned perogies and cabbage rolls) but what is a party
without music?
Let's see:
"Working in a Coal mine" - the Devo version
"Friday on my mind" - Easybeats
"Friday I'm in Love (don't anyone tell my wife!) - The Cure
"Working for the Weekend" - Loverboy
"Switchin' to Glide / This Beat Goes On" - Kings ("Nothing matters but the
weekend... from a Tuesday point of view")
"Makin' it Work" - Doug and the Slugs
"Tom Cat Prowl" - Doug and the Slugs
"Monday Monday" - Mamas and Papas (just to counterweight all those weekend
songs)
"Money" - Pink Floyd
and of course, that never to be forgotten tale of underage angst and
teenage soul -
"SATURDAY Night" - Bay City Rollers
