Re: College/University Archivists

Trinity University was established in 1869. The first yearbook, dated 1900,
was
issued simply as the Commencement Number of the campus newspaper, the
Trinitonian. Both were published on heavy paper and the Commencement
Number had photos of the Faculty, students, societies, teams, etc. Funding
lapsed and when a new yearbook appeared in 1912, it was called the Mirage,
a direct reference to the fact that there was no yearbook in 1911. I do
like the
title, as it beats "The Corral"---a name suggested in 1910.
