Curator of Archives and Special Collections for Autry Museum of Western
Heritage in Los Angeles

Good opportunity for person interested in building a career in special
collections and archives management.  Work will include: exhibition,
publication and programs development, cataloging projects and historical
research.  Performs original and derived cataloging of archives, maps,
manuscripts, personal papers and visual materials.  Reports to the
Librarian and Archivist.  Position will include training to use RLIN and
Innopac.  MLS and 3 years experience in a research library or archives
required.  Knowledge of EAD, USMARC coding and AACR2 cataloging
essential.  Second Master's in a subject relating to the American West
strongly preferred.  Salary commensurate with experience.
