anti-freeze substance leak

Hello all:

We've just had a major problem and I'm seeking help from this esteemed
community. As the heat was just turned on in the building, a pipe from
the boiler room began a major leak of an anti-freeze type substance from
the ceiling. Fortunately, it missed most of our collections, but a few
boxes were hit. UNfornately, a small number of files had the substance
on them. Does anyone know the corrosive/damaging properties of
anti-freeze on paper? We have them spread out to dry, but I was
wondering if we should take any other conservation measures.

Thanks in advance,
