Re: digital document imaging

Thank you for your request. I have added you to the mailing list.

The first issue of the Local History & Genealogy Librarian was mailed this week. It is 4 pages long and we are expanding it to 8 pages with the next issue. I hope to go to 12 pages per issue next year.

Each issue will contain news about librarians, library collections and new titles in genealogy & local history. Please let me know of news about your work and your library.

Can I ask a favor of you. If you are ordering titles mentioned in the LH&G Librarian, please tell the publishers where you read about them. This first issue features books written by LH&G librarians. Please consider adding them to your collection and telling the publishers where you saw them listed.

All the best,

Tom

If you are in the process of establishing or have established an enterprise-wide digital document imaging program at your college or university, and would be willing to share the policies you have created, please contact me off-list at abahr@siue.edu.  Thank you!
