Re: PowerPoint vs CDRoms

Having prepared an extensive presentation on PowerPoint in Windows 95, I
went to give the talk at a university. They were set up for Windows 2000
and took the presentation on a CD for conversion from 95 to 2000. Much to
my surprise, several of the graphics and text slides were jumbled, some
quite badly. I would be surprised if a CD with a PowerPoint presentation
would maintain its integrity for very long.

It looks like one would have to convert the presentation to a new format
every few years or lose some of the work. The CD will probably outlast the
software version needed to translate it properly.
