Re: PowerPoint vs CDRoms
One point that was missed my earlier comments on this subject on the
preservation of PowerPoint presentations on CDs is the animation sequences
that allow emphasis of important ideas on certain slides. Hopefully these
"tricks" are not overly employed, but conversion of the presentation to
slides do not allow these animation sequences to be preserved. It looks
like the equipment, software as well as the CD needs to be preserved to keep
the original content.
