Re: rolled photographs

I have a few dozen tightly rolled photographs in a collection that I would
like to flatten.

You really need to humidify them, so they'll relax. They are rolled up
because they are the old black and whites that have an emulsion covering
one side with a paper backing. The emulsion and the paper react very
differently to changes in RH. There are several ways to humidify items, and
they've all been discussed on this list, so check the archives. If that
doesn't help, get back to me.
