39,687.00 Annually. General Functions: Assists in the development of
the programs at the Manuscript Division and in the identification of the role
and relationship of Manuscript Division resources to other resources within the
Moorland Spingarn Research Center. Evaluates, sorts, arranges, describes,
implements preservation measures, prepares reference, retrieval and storage
tools and maintains administrative files for the preservation, research access
and administration of manuscript and archival materials. Evaluates, develops,
and implements technical policies and procedures. Prepares exhibits, performs
outreach services, plans and implements public programs promoting the Center and
its collections. Performs other job related duties as assigned. Minimum
Eligibility Requirements: Master's degree from an ALA accredited institution
in Library and Information Science and four (4) years of professional librarian
experience in a unviersity library, research library to include supervision.
