Re: Finding Collections for sale
Diane
You might try perusing eBAY. Several weeks ago in one of my RAIN postings
there was a story about a couple in Louisville, KY who were able to purchase
an architect's archives that were up for auction on eBAY. I generally search
for photographs, but in the area of collectibles you will find a wide
variety of items. There are other auctions sites available too. You might
want to work with some antiquarian bookdealers providing them with your wish
list.
It won't be easy it takes time and effort, lots of time. you might try
identifying certain individuals whose material you would like and start to
cultivate a relationship with them.
